Financial Market strategist David Smick's title on the hidden dangers to the global economy is a master piece analysis of the financial markets that accompanies "The world is flat".  A must read for knowing the macro forces that drives the financial movements and flow of credit.  The book provides insightful macro-economic analysis of past blunders to warn of the subprime crisis and the aftermath.

This book by Barry Nalebuff and Ian Ayres is a must-have to one's Creative Innovation library.  A collection of ideas showcased on columns for Forbes, this book layout a systematic approach to discovery and innovation, as well as citing many ingenious ideas a la halfbakery.com.

I should use this as a supplementary text for the Innovation Discovery part of the Teen-Venture course.

Mark J. Penn's book "Microtrends: The Small Forces Behind Tomorrow's Big Changes" is a must read for entrepreneurs who wish to sense the direction of society.  However, I feel it more to be a general survey of every aspect of life, with some insightful critique of societal behavior.
